Jack Ü plan to release new material around Coachella
After making history in Cuba, Diplo teases news with Skrillex
Following Diplo's (as Major Lazer) major milestone moment as the first major American act to play Cuba after the two countries restored diplomatic relations, the multi-monikered artist sat with revered interviewer Charlie Rose.
The historic show drew in over half a million fans and the footage from the event is as wild as one would imagine.
Diplo shared with Rose that, despite making history in Cuba, he's wasting no time basking in the moment. Instead, he's already focusing on his many other projects in tow. "Before I came down to you, I was sitting on my computer editing some new songs for the Jack Ü project because we want to put something out around Coachella," he explained.
Coachella, which takes place across two weekends beginning on April 15, sees Jack Ü as headliners for Friday night of the three-day show. It looks like we may receive new material from Skrillex and Diplo in just a matter of weeks.
