Intrepid Skin announces forthcoming release from MarcelDune, 'Buy Success'
Think serrated industrial, rave and percussive energies
SPFDJ's Intrepid Skin has announced its forthcoming release, this time sharing the 'Buy Success' EP from MarcelDune.
Set for release on December 13 both digitally and via vinyl, lead single 'Romantic and Other Fantasies' - a weighty percussive-meets-effect loaded affair - is available now.
Elsewhere, 'Buy Success' blends raw, serrated edges with industrial before 'Remedy For Evil' takes a bouncier approach ahead of the angular, glitched-out and vocal-chop adorned 'Tell Me Who They Are'.

"‘Buy Success’ is very personal for me for so many reasons but mainly because I use a lot of my own voice in the tracks in a more lyrical way than just a cute / catchy sample loop," explains MarcelDune. "Written and produced in a moment that I was questioning loads our attachment behaviour styles in personal and professional life, this EP is a reflection of this journey.
"It blends a diverse array of influences from house and dance music to groovy techno, as well as the vibrant energy of '00s parties translating into a more current landscape of our modern club culture — exactly what saved me from all the conformities we sometimes tend to fall in.
"Sincerely inspired by the vibrant underground club scene of the 90s and 00s, with this release I was committing to translate into my music the same sense of liberation, expression, and inclusivity that characterised those iconic gatherings. ‘Buy Success’ presents a transformative era of me on personal and musical level, while I hope it moves us forward into a more current vibe of liberation. I am so very glad to see it now shine and thrive in a moment that seems more promising."
