Ikonika shows us her ‘Distractions’ on new album
It's out in June via Hyperdub
London producer Ikonika is dropping her brand new album, ‘Distractions’, on June 2.
Ikonika has been making waves since her huge 2008 single 'Please', as a DJ, remixer and producer.
‘Distractions’ follows her 2013 release, ‘Aerotropolis’, and it shows off the producer’s love of UK music, with grime, dubstep, r'n'b and hip hop influences and features from the likes of Andrea Galaxy, Jammz, and Jessy Lanza.
The LP’s artwork is also inspired by the UK scene, showing a futuristic version of West London’s 'Golden Mile' road which is adorned with art deco factories and illuminated buildings.
You can grab ‘Distractions’ on June 2 and listen to the lead single ‘Manual Decapitation’ here.
