Hudson Mohawke clarifies his alleged beef with Kanye and Drake
We may have jumped the gun on this one
Yesterday we reported that Hudson Mohawke had taken to Twitter, claiming that rappers Kanye West and Drake hadn’t paid him for unreleased production work.
However, according to a brief tweet this morning, his anger was not aimed at the rappers directly, but their lawyers. In his own words, there is no "issue" between him and Yeezy.
Dont listen to any nonsense about me "threatening" either heh, only stated few facts, wanting to be paid for other ppl taking $£ for my work

N this is no shots at Kanye it's shots at lawyers who weren't in the room on their side. Myself and Ye have absolutely no personal issue

Previously, HudMo said that he didn’t have "10 milly to deal with the consequences" of fulfilling his initial "wind-up" threat to leak all of the tracks. Having slept on it, the Glaswegian has returned with a thanks to fans for support and to clarify the situation.
The details on why the Warp Records producer's pay has been withheld are still fairly scarce, but this morning’s backtracking could mean that his relationship with Kanye and Drake is still intact.
