horsegiirL announces new EP ‘Farm Fatale’ and drops new single
‘Praise The Farm’ is a teaser for the mane event, due for release early next month
Today (February 10), trend buckarooing artist horsegiirL (AKA Stella) has announced a new EP ‘Farm Fatale’, due for release early next month (March 4) via Live From Earth.
It’s the second EP from the equestrian DJ and producer, following her 2022 collaborative debut with MCR-T ‘Farm Fantasies’, which featured online hit tracks 'My Little White Pony' and ‘Star Signs’.
Alongside the announcement, she also dropped a new single ‘Praise The Farm’. It is a barnstorming tune, blending ‘90s influenced trance with hard house, with horsegiirL’s hyperpop vocals floating over the instrumental.

Speaking about the new single, horsegiirL said: “I want to make music, that makes people feel warm and fuzzy inside and make them jump around with joy, like I do when I’m back at home in the barn.”
The announcement follows last month’s single ‘Pegasus’, which introduced ‘Farm Fatale’s’ theme. She has now left her “home of sunshine farms & [is] entering into her metropolitan city girl era,” according to a statement.
Blending the worlds of music and animals seems to be in vogue at the moment. In October, Burning Man festival announced the theme for its 2023 edition – Animalia. In a post, Burning Man resident and director of Burning Man Project’s Philosophical Center Stuart Mangrum wrote that Animalia will “celebrate the animal world and our place in it”.

“Animals that speak and act like humans inhabit a throughline in our collective mythology, from ancient myths and fairy tales to modern television,” he continued.
“The Black Rock Desert can appear at first glance to be lifeless – other than, of course, the silly humans who build a city there every summer – but this is far from the truth.
“Anyone familiar with the high desert knows that even our on a dry lakebed, the skies carry soaring ravens and buzzing insects, the fairy shrimp slumber below ground waiting for rain, and countless other species roam the transition zones where the playa edges into scrub and wetlands.”
