Honey Soundsystem to release five-track EP from Bézier
‘府城’ lands March 22
Honey Soundsystem’s next release will come from HSS crew member Bézier.
Titled ‘府城’, the new five-track EP from the Taiwanese-American artist is expected to release next month, and was recorded in a vacant apartment unit in his grandmother’s property in Tainan, Taiwan.
Complete with a microphone, his live touring setup and “the memories of loved ones recently passed”, Bézier “manipulated samples of his own vocals and mobile mono synths to tell his stories about returning home, honoring ancestry, and embrace life’s hardest challenges” on the release.
It follows up Bézier’s previous Honey Soundsystem outings (‘Cosmologist’ and 'Mina'), as well as releases on Cin Cin and Dark Entries.
Check out some snippets here and pre-order the EP before it lands on March 22 via the acclaimed San Fran label.
