Honey Dijon drops new video and single 'Work'

The single ‘Work’ will feature on her upcoming LP ‘Black Girl Magic’

Honey Dijon drops new video and single 'Work'

DJ, producer, and electronic musician Honey Dijon has released her fourth single titled ‘Work’ which features Dave Giles II, Cor.Ece, and Mike Dunn.

Teaming up with Defected Record's Classic Music Company for the collab her latest release includes a combination of live instruments and a dynamic range of vocals.

This latest single will also appear on her forthcoming LP ‘Black Girl Magic’ and is released along with an energetic music video filled with latex.

The music video nods to Neneh Cherry’s ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ and features dancers expressing sex positivity.

Previous Mixmag cover star, Honey explains: “The inspiration for the video is an homage to the incredible work of Jean-Baptiste Mondino for Neneh Cherry’s song ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ for the Red Hot + Blue album that raised money during the height of the AIDS crisis.”

She adds: “I am so honoured to share with you my next single ‘Work’! A celebration of my love of jazz that slams hard on the dancefloor!”
