The Bulgarian turns this into mystical powerhouse
After nine years of Herbert album drought, Matthew Herbert finally released 'The Shakes' under his alias at the beginning of June.
Having been a regular on Studio !K7, releasing odd creatures like 'The Puzzle', and his own label Accidental Records with 2014's dazzling 'Part Eight', he inked a deal with Caroline International for the record. And what we got was a bunch of dancefloor-geared cuts like 'Strong' and the creamy 'Middle'.
The latter's been remixed, with Bulgarian producer KiNK doing the honours. Totally different to the original, he sweeps away any of the initial sweetness for the most part and turns it into a mystical eight minutes of house power.
'Middle' is released via Accidental Records on August 21
