Hear Radiohead and Hans Zimmer's 'ocean (bloom)' for Blue Planet II
Absolutely brilliant.
The preview feature for BBC's Blue Planet II has just been released, which debuts Radiohead and Hans Zimmer's new collaboration 'ocean (bloom)'.
The exclusive production is a rendition of Radiohead's original 'Bloom' from their 2011 album 'The King Of Limbs'.
'ocean (bloom)' was written with heavy influences from the sounds of the sea, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra under the direction of Zimmer.
The piece is utterly moving, with Thom Yorke's signature emotional vocals and Hans' trademark power-driven depth creating a perfect backdrop to breathtaking exhibitions of the natural world.
Blue Planet II, as part of BBC's Planet Earth series, will continue themes from its first season, exploring the deep sea and oceanic life narrated by David Attenborough.
Listen to 'ocean (bloom)' in the Blue Planet II feature below.
