HAAi has created and edited her own video for 'Rotating In Unison'

On Wednesday 12 August, HAAi released the video that she created and edited for her track ‘Rotating In Unison’, taken from her forthcoming EP ‘Head Above The Parakeets’. ‘Head Above The Parakeets’ will be released on September 18.

‘Rotating In Unison’ and title track ‘Head Above The Parakeets’ are in a different vein entirely to HAAi’s previous high energy, high tempo and highly chunky-sounding releases. The two tracks from her upcoming EP are slowed right down, lighter and more airy, leaving space to feel the space.

Speaking on the video for ‘Rotating In Unison’, HAAi, aka Teneil Throssell, said, “The track and the visual were both made to highlight beauty and coexistence as we all rotate around the sun. To try and remember beauty and calm in a time of uncertainty and unrest, even for just a few minutes. I really enjoyed creating this myself, incorporating visuals I’ve been using and making over the years. Thank you to Finn, Alex, Alice and Immy for allowing me to include you in this.”

Throssell has also created an Instagram filter that matches the visuals for the ‘Rotating In Unison’ video: glitchy and ever-circling. Check out her Instagram for details on how to try it out.
