Take Note Academy has announced its return to London this September with the likes of HAAi, Martha, B.Traits, Cassy and more confirmed for a string of masterclasses and daytime discussions.
The music conference has also secured a slew of industry experts set to share their knowledge and experience at the event. From Luckyme Director and Warp International A&R Manager Dominic Flannigan through to insiders from Ninja Tune, Drumcode, Five Miles, Columbo Group, XL Recordings and more, the event aims to inspire and connect young people and help them find their feet in the industry.
Discussing the Take Note Academy via a press release founder Bianca Mayhew explained, “The music industry is one of the most exciting and rewarding career choices but can be difficult to break into and a constant challenge to navigate. It is important to find your place and be creatively fulfilled on your own unique path to “success”."
Adding, "Take Note aims to support the next generation by giving them face to face access to the professionals who can open doors as well as inspiring young people to come together, collaborate, and work towards a healthy future for electronic music.”
Alongside the talks and workshops Take Note Academy will also offer attendees a chance to enter a mentor scheme and receive one-on-one tailored advice from a selection of experienced professionals and artists. Mentors include Bianca Mayhew, Mixmag’s Editor At Large Ralph Moore and Dimensions and Outlook Festival Brand Director Andy Leymay.
