Gumnaam's first EP for Riddim&Culture since 2012 is a cracker. Across five new tracks, including the spectacular 'Yeh Dhuaan' ft. Hindi vocalist Syrene, Gumnaam explores the parallels between his own cultural heritage and his music, with tracks featuring live violin, sitar, sarangi and bansuri all recorded in his home studio.
From the frantic pace of cosmic opener 'Before I Keep On' to the dark, growling bass of classic dub lean 'Mystics', there is a lot to get stuck into but our tip is the beautiful 'Smoke' - a deeply spiritual trip.
