Funk Butcher x Zed Bias is Funk Bias and we first saw what the pair had to offer back in 2011 when they released an EP via Loefah's bass-focused Swamp 81 imprint.
Now they join forces once again to deliver a pretty bloody dark record on Southern Fried Records. The split EP isn't for the faint hearted and while the first track 'Strict As' is more of a low-end bubbler, 'Anna Logg' fits nicely into the electro section.
The nostalgia-flecked cut is a 4am weapon that features ominous low-end rumbles, gnarly snares and enough dread to send you running to Mummy.
We like this, even if we are a bit scared by it.
