Gorillaz hint at David Bowie collaboration
Jamie Hewlett has teased fans with another Instagram post
Gorillaz member Jamie Hewlett has dropped a possible hint that David Bowie will appear on the band's new album.
The visual artist has been posting new renderings of the virtual band's members on his Instagram account over the past week and yesterday he uploaded an image of Bowie with a Gorillaz-esque makeover alongside the caption "Bad David".
While Damon Albarn and Hewlett reaffirmed back in October that work on Gorillaz's first album since 2010's 'Plastic Beach' is underway, details around the record remain sparse.
There's no official confirmation that a Bowie collaboration will feature just yet, but it is known he and Albarn are close so it could definitely be on the cards.
