Giggs allegedly targeted in drive-by shooting at DJ AG event, Channel 4 reveals

Giggs was allegedly targeted in a drive-by shooting while performing with DJ AG last year, Channel 4 News has revealed.

The incident, covered yesterday (January 27) as part of Channel 4 News' Frontline series, reportedly took place last February in Peckham as the two stars introduced their collaborative track 'The Entry'.

According to Channel 4, a bystander was left with "life-changing injuries" following the event after being shot in the foot. Giggs was allegedly the target of the shooting.

“The bullet ricocheted and struck his foot. It shattered all the bones. We recovered the bullet from his sock. Anyone could have died,” Detective John Davis said.

The report highlights that gun crime in London has become "more deadly", with one in six shootings being homicides, up from one in thirteen last year — despite this, London reported its lowest homicide rate "since records began" in 2025.

Mixmag has contacted representatives for Giggs for comment.
