Ghostface Killah has announced his new memoir Rise Of A Killah: My Life In The Wu-Tang.
The Wu-Tang Clan member has named his book after his 2018 track ‘Rise Of The Ghostface Killah’ and it will be available to purchase next year.
Following the life of the rapper and one of the founding Wu-Tang members, the book explores a range of key moments of Ghostface’s life such as a formative touring trip to Japan in 1997 with the rap group, as well as the creation of some of his most iconic lyrics.

The autobiography also reflects on Ghostface’s personal life including his childhood growing up in Staten Island, dealing with crime and violence, and his commitment to his family, especially supporting his brother who has muscular dystrophy.
The forthcoming memoir is described as: “Rich with both story and imagery, Rise Of A Killah is both visual record and a real-feel narrative of a performer’s life.”

In October, Wu-Tang released their first single in six years, ‘Claudine’ featuring Ghoostface Killah and Method Man.
Produced by Wu-Tang's long-time collaborator DJ Mathematics, the track is based on the 1974 Harlem-based film Claudine, covering similar themes to the film such as heartbreak and love.
