Four Tet follows up Coachella headline slot with dreamy new track 'Three Drums'

Four Tet has released a new track ‘Three Drums’, following his closing set at Coachella alongside Fred again.. and Skrillex.

The eight-minute track is an entirely different vibe from the high-adrenaline festival headline set, and in keeping with the lush soundscapes that have formed the bulk of his discography over the years. Taking listeners on a journey, it stars dreamy ambient textures and synths complementing Four Tet’s simple percussion.

Dropping his first single of the year, the release follows his short-notice Coachella closing set with Fred again.. and Skrillex, locked in after Frank Ocean pulled out of his second scheduled performance due to a reported leg injury.

The trio have formed a popular partnership of late, playing spontaneous pop-up shows and collaborating on the track ‘Baby again..’ which dropped last month.
