FOLD's Futur.Shock series is set to return this month
Season two of the live art event will include performances from Nik Colk Void, Mircrocorps, Sasoraye and others
FOLD’s live art series Futur.Shock will be back for season two this month.
"Strange Attractor" will explore futurology with a range of artistic performances from the likes of Nik Colk Void, Mircrocorps, Sasoraye and others.
All artists will be sharing their own perspectives on this season’s theme ‘Strange Attractor’ which is a term within physics ad maths that describes the behaviour of chaotic systems.

Combining electronic music with avant-garde performances, set design and lighting, the first event of this next series will take place at FOLD on September 29.
The full list of performers is electronic musician Nik Colk Void, artist and musician Microcorps aka. Alexander Tucker, artist Sasoraye, audiovisual project and dance-floor experimentalist Scald & Xenia Black, designer Parker Heyl, designer Mackenzie Van Dam and techno DJ Lockhart.
This second series of the live art event will be divided into two volumes with this first volume running from September through to December and volume two programmed for January all the way to June.

In a press release, it's said that the programme, “will embrace hyper-complexity, futurism, multiple perspectives, unconventional and futuristic thinking within differing communities and demographics as well as the politics of mental health, critique and existential risk.”
