Floating Points has announced debut album 'Elaenia'
The LP will be released via Pluto on November 6
Floating Points has announced new album 'Elaenia' to be released on November 6.
The producer, whose long history in the music industry is well documented and is strongly associated with the now defunct Plastic People nightclub, has already released a string of EPs and 12"s over the years, including 'Vaccum' and last year's 'Nuits Sorones'.
As well as this he also worked alongside numerous other artists, such as Mary Anne Hobbs, Fatima and Four Tet.
Yet, despite his long and compelling career, this is set to be the Manchester-born producer's first ever full-length album.
'Elaenia' will come out on his own label Pluto having released the majority of his previous work on Eglo Records, a label he co-ran with Alex Nut.
Alongside the announcement he has also shared a video for the first track off the album to be released, 'Silhouettes (I, II & III)'.
