On the title, the press release explains: “What is ‘Eeusexua’? Eusexua is a state of being. A feeling of momentary transcendence often evoked by art, music, sex, and unity. Eusexua can be followed by a state of bliss and feelings of limitless possibility.

“Also used to refer to: ‘The pinnacle of Human Experience’. Eusexua is the moment right before an orgasm. Eusexua is melding into one being with the perfect stranger you're making out with. Eusexua is losing track of time while losing yourself on the dance floor. Eusexua is the rush of inspiration that accompanies the birth of an idea. Eusexua can be many things to many people.”

It is also notes that ‘Eusexua’ refers to “any moment in which we are fully embodying ourselves, present in the moment, disconnected from technology, synthesized with those around us”, and that moments such as these described inspired the album, along with experiences in Prague’s undeground techno scene and shooting horror film The Crow, in which twigs stars as the mother of Jesus.

It was previously revealed that Welsh producer Koreless worked on the album.

As of today, as new art piece by FKA twigs is being exhibited at Sotheby’s London gallery on New Bond Street and will be there until September 26.

Titled ‘The Eleven’, it’s a performance art piece conceptualised by FKA twigs and performed by a rotating cast of 11 ‘movers’, including twigs herself, described as a “physical and artistic quest for self-healing”, and reaching the state of 'Eusexua'.

Elborating on 'Eusexua' to Sotheby's, FKA twigs added: “It’s that feeling of when you’ve been dancing all night and you lose seven hours to music… and you think, ‘oh my gosh, it’s eight in the morning and last time you looked it was one... A moment of pure clarity when everything moves out of the way, everything in your mind is completely blank, and your mind is elevated… that’s Eusexua.”
