Junction 2 reveals first details of 10th anniversary plans

Junction 2 is turning 10 this year with a series of plans for the J2 X anniversary celebrations.

The festival will take place in Boston Manor Park across two stages, the industrial and open-air setting below an M4 flyover The Bridge, and the more intimate and enclosed woodland space The Woods.

The festival takes place across three days and two weekends, starting with a collaboration with fabric on July 25, before two more days of festival on July 26 and August 2.

“As we reach our 10th anniversary, it feels like the right moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and how we shape Junction 2 for the years ahead. The past decade has brought incredible highs but also major challenges: rising production costs, a global pandemic, our 2023 cancellation due to industrial action, and a cost-of-living crisis that has changed how many of us experience culture. We’re grateful to still be here, championing cutting-edge electronic music — but to keep going, we need to adapt. From 2026 onwards, Junction 2 will be centred around the two pillars that have always defined the festival: The Bridge and The Woods,” say the organsiers.

The Phase One line-ups have been revealed, featuring the likes of Jeff Mills, Peach, Miss Monique, I Hate Models, Funk Tribu and more.

“We’re excited to bring these influential and forward-thinking artists to Boston Manor Park as we celebrate 10 years,” add the organisers. “By focusing on two flagship stages, we can put more attention into sound, production and the overall experience — refining what truly makes Junction 2 stand out.”
