Fatboy Slim announces new remix pack, ‘Everybody Loves a Remix’
The pack includes a Todd Edwards remix of ‘Rockerfeller Skank’
Fatboy Slim has announced a new remix pack and an upcoming tour.
The remix pack is released by Skint Records, it is described as being “a re-visitation of label luminary Fatboy Slim’s most widely acclaimed tracks.”
The full remix collection ‘Everybody Loves a Remix’ will be available on Friday, October 22, and will include some of the industry's most well-known producers, setting the path for new reinterpretations of Fatboy Slim’s chart-topping tracks.
For 'Rockafeller Skank,' Todd Edwards will be first in line to offer his reinterpretation. Edwards is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the UK garage scene, from its inception in the 1990s to the present day.

His track remix features jacking baseline warps and twists beneath the powerful vocal utterance "right about now, the funk soul brother here," with percussive components pushed by a four-to-the-floor kick drum. An exhilarated mood of high intensity disco groove is created by the ensemble of conga drums rattling alongside signature Todd chops.
