fabric teams up with the National Opera for a live electronic show
The show will take place at the London Coliseum in March
fabric and the English National Opera have joined forces to bring a special one-off performance to the London Coliseum in March.
The legendary London venue and opera group will present four live electronic acts over the course of one evening, making it the first project of its kind for the world-renowned opera company that is bringing electronic music into the fold for the first time.
On Wednesday, March 9, for one night only, one half of electronic duo Âme, Frank Wiedemann, will perform a live set alongside three others.

Also stepping up to the stage is London’s Rival Consoles, LCY - who will perform their live act for the first time - and fabric resident Josh Caffé.
Caffé’s vocal performance will also be backed by vogue dancers as he brings his acid house show to the stage at London Coliseum.
“It’s a chance to explore beyond our home on Charterhouse Street and make way for other artistic expressions, beautiful spaces and fellow institutions that will elevate electronic music as a true art form,” said fabric’s Creative Director, Jorge Nieto.
“This will be the beginning of a long-term collaboration with the aim of blending different artistic expressions in unique spaces and showcasing electronic music to new audiences,” he added.

The performance will take place from 7:PM until 11:PM at the historic venue in Leicester Square. Promising a ‘boundary-pushing sonic experience’, fabric at the Opera has also opted into the Let’s Do London campaign bringing together London’s creative sectors.
Amy Lamé, London’s Night Czar, said on the event: “I am delighted that fabric and the ENO, both vanguards of London’s cultural scene, have come together for this groundbreaking project.
“London has an incredible musical heritage and it is projects like this that truly cement our city’s reputation as a global leader in cultural and creative innovation and will help drive forward our economic and social recovery.”
