Expect a new Flying Lotus album in 2016
He told Zane Lowe this year will be "prolific" for him
He knocked us for six with 2014's 'You're Dead' album and now Flying Lotus has promised a follow-up this year.
Steven Ellison, whose score for 'Fuckkkyouuu' was recently streamed in full, spoke to Zane Lowe on Beats1 last night, telling us to expect a lot from him in 2016.
Alluding to a new LP, although not giving any clues about when it'll be released, he told Zane he expects this year to be his "most prolific year if I can get out of this little slump".
He added: "I'm actually really excited. I'm going to have a lot of stuff going on this year."
That busy year starts with 'R2 Where R U' which is featured on the Rick Rubin-curated Star Wars album with Bonobo, Shlohmo, Claude VonStroke and Baauer.
