Essential: Florentino offers up a rough and ready remix of Jubilee’s ‘Wine Up’
From Manchester to Mixpak
From Manchester to Mixpak, Florentino is the name to know if you’re after impulsive, mutated club madness. Always romantic, never conventional, his productions combine the underground sounds of the UK with delectable, Latin-inflected flavours.
We’re big fans of Florentino’s tenacious twists here at Mixmag. Earlier this year, he offered up a frenzied Abra flip, and now he’s turned his attention to a big tune from his new label mate Jubilee. Taking on her dancehall hit, ‘Wine Up’, featuring Hoodcelebrityy, the producer does what he does best as he conjures up his signature concoction of rough and ready reggaeton, bold bass and and mind-spinning tempos.
