The immensely innovative Eric Prydz has just informed his fans that EPIC 5.0 is on its way, and it's like nothing the world has ever seen.

Prydz's EPIC shows have been known to test the visionary boundaries, bringing mind-blogging live shows and holograms to the stage in a multi-sensory fusion of art and music. Starting in 2012, the producer's performance series aimed to bring something fresh to the electronic community, building a "technology-based extension" of his music with episodic upgrades and concepts.

The news of the fifth EPIC installment comes through a recent interview with Insomniac's Night Owl Radio, where the producer vaguely describes his current 5.0 project. No word on a debut date or upcoming tour, the only details given are that "it's going to blow your head off."

In addition to the news of EPIC 5.0, Prydz also announces he'll be returning with his EPIC Radio series this November.

Listen to the Night Owl interview below, starting at 31:00.
