Eric Cloutier launches his Palinoia label with a new EP
Serving as a home for his careful curation of techno and house
Eric Cloutier has announced that his forthcoming ‘Heuristic’ EP will be the inaugural release on his very own label, Palinoia.
Based in Berlin by way of Detroit, Eric Cloutier’s sonic output cleverly borders the realms of house and techno. However, no matter what classification, his sound tends to focus on hypnotic and relentless rhythms which have become his trademark.
After releasing material on labels like Wolfskuil, Studio-R, Freund Der Familie and Steve O'Sullivan’s influential Mosaic imprint, Cloutier is now embarking on his own. He’s developed a reputation for careful curation during DJ sets and the label will serve as a home for his alluring taste in dance music.
Judging by the connotation of the word Palinoia, which is a Greek term meaning "the obsessive repetition of an act until it is perfect or mastered," we can expect the label’s catalogue to consist of the finest in spellbinding productions.
