En Masse festival reveals full line-up for 2022 edition

Multi-day, multi-venue music and arts festival En Masse has announced its line-up for its 2022 return, kicking off on September 19 and lasting until September 24.

Showcasing Bristol's underground, electronic and experimental scenes, programmes are curated by members of the local community to unite artists of various backgrounds, celebrating the diversity and breadth of Bristolian creatives.

Things have scaled up for this year's event: following En Masse's inception in 2020 and postponement due to the pandemic, the festival shifted from a camping festival to a city festival, with last year's inaugural edition taking place over three days and three venues featuring exclusively Bristol-based artists.

This year, the festival is set to occur over six days across five different venues: The Cube, Loco Klub, Strange Brew, Trinity Centre and Black Swan. Monday sees a warmup takeover on NOODS Radio with the En Masse crew.

The curation of the programme intends to pair artists together who draw upon similar influences, but in different ways, with styles widely ranging from ambient, dub, drill, techno, alternative rock and futuristic pop to name a few.

Amber Audio and Sinai Soundsystem are ensuring the sonic quality is as top-level as possible, and visual installations from various local artists will offer immersive experiences for attendees.

Names on the line-up include Robbie & Mona, Leif, Loco Klub and Hessle Audio's Bruce with a debut live show. En Masse has also got UK names from further afield in tow, including London's Ben UFO and Josey Rebelle.

All tickets are under £20 and available exclusively via Bristol's Headfirst. If sold out, the platform has a resale feature, which attendees are encouraged to use, to avoid any risk of purchasing illegitimate tickets.

"Please bring open ears and minds to any event you’re attending," En Masse shared. "Remember we’re operating a safe and inclusive space for all six of our events so if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, please let us or the venue staff know."
