Ell Murphy and Chavinski team up on new track ‘O.B.F.C.’

Producer, DJ and vocalist, Ell Murphy has teamed up with Netherlands-based Chavinski — AKA Coco Bryce — on the new single ‘O.B.F.C.’.

Out now, the new single via Locked On Records celebrates all things UKG and will also feature on Interplanetary Criminal’s upcoming compilation ‘All Thru The Night’.

The 14-track compilation will feature original tracks by Interplanetary Criminal as well as new music from a specially curated list highlighting the best UK garage.

Speaking on the new single, Ell Murphy says “O.B.F.C. stands for ‘One Big F**koff Crew', which started the name for a silly WhatsApp group in lockdown and has gone on to become a real community here in London and across Europe.

“The song is about those bonds and friendships I've made; growing from WhatsApp texts to the hazy embers of an afters at 6:AM and now lifelong relationships. It's an unbeatable feeling when you're out with the whole crew and just really feel part of something, so I wanted this song to encapsulate that feeling of togetherness.”

Ell Murphy organised for the founder and designer behind Manchester-based DONK, Sam Shepardson for the artwork.
