Having been in operation since 2011, Unclear Records is now 12 releases deep and has showcased music from the likes of Rick Wade, Johannes Heil and label boss Elia Perrone.

The house and techno on offer has always impressed but perhaps the most exciting releases via the imprint come in the form of their Various Artist EPs. In 2014 'A Tribute To Klang Club' came out and it brought forward exclusive tracks from Roman Flügel, Oliver Deutschmann and Baby Ford, all of which banged hard.

For the label's 13th release, Elia Perrone has teamed up with Venetian producer Gigi Masin, who's been releasing serene ambient compositions since the 1980's. Legend doesn't really begin to cover it.

The title-track on the 'Stella' EP is a haunting, string-laden piece that soothes with its melancholia-drenched feel. It's not geared for the dancefloor at all but Juju & Jordash have stepped in to change that.

The remix opens with some delightful strings before gurgling bass riffs and a 4/4 kick rear their heads after 30 seconds. It's a driving re-imagining that maintains the ambient aesthetic while giving it a surge of energy and danceability. We like this.

The Stella EP will be released on March 25 via Unclear
