Lorenzo Dada (Axel Boman Remix)

Culprit is house music.

The LA label has been operating for over five years and in the that time, the imprint run by Droog has established itself as a go-to source for house music with a certified gold stamp.

There have been records from Lee Foss, Hot Natured, Subb-an, Benoit & Sergio, Shonky and Adtriatique, all of which have ruled dancefloors and soundsystems across the world. This month, the imprint will celebrate a big milestone as they released their 60th record and the man in charge is Italian producer, Lorenzo Dada.

The classically-trained pianist has been making moves on the underground for the past few years but now he breaks free with the 'Love Apparel' EP and it's not just the three new original tracks worth getting excited about.

Both Bambook and Axel Boman have turned in remixes of the title-track and we've got the premiere of the Studio Barnhaus don's re-imagining.

It goes without saying that we love Axel Boman as his weird and wonderful take on house music has soothed our ears for years. His remix of 'Love Apparel' takes things deeper than the original by using serene backing synths, melodies that ooze melancholia and a bassline that although dense, adds another level of dreaminess to the cut.

A great remix and a wonderful way to celebrate 60 releases from one of the USA's best labels.

The 'Love Apparel' EP by Lorenzo Dada will be released on February 24 via Culprit
