It was revealed yesterday, August 31, that E1 will be demolished and rebuilt next door to its current site on Pennington St, Wapping, to make way for a new development. The development includes 114 residential flats and a new nightclub operated by E1.

E1's new home will have a 24-hour licence on Fridays and Saturdays, with a 6:AM - 3:AM licence Sunday to Thursday. Construction will begin in around five years.
