Beste Modus featured as one of the imprints in our labels of 2015 feature and they supplied some of the best house music of the year so when label boss Cinthie put us onto Rutilance Recordings, we knew it was a sure-fire tip.

Based in France, Rutilance has been supplying deep, spanky house since 2013 and is helmed by DJ Steaw and Gunnter. The label has put out sumptuous records from the likes of Jay Shaw, Sunny Galaxy and Janaret, who dropped the stellar 'Heat' EP at the end of last year.

All of their records ooze cool and we can't get enough of them so we're thrilled to present an exclusive premiere from Rutilance's 10th release. The four-tracker features tracks from Marotti as well as bosses Gunnter and Steaw, today we showcase 'Lock Out'.

The cut by DJ Steaw features slamming percussion, a toe-tappingly smooth groove and chords that float beautifully in-and-out of focus. It's hard to reach house perfection but we reckon this track gets pretty close. Get involved and get to know.

Rutilance 010 will be dropping soon, preorder it here
