DC Salas has shared the latest single taken from his forthcoming sophomore LP, 'To The Places I Call(ed) Home', 'Homesick'.

This most recent instalment is a propulsive affair, driving with particular intent with added swells of Goa and trance, as the single's artwork - the Peruvian-Belgian artist with his Grandmother - reinforces explorations of the full album which touch on themes of memories, grief and the transient concept of 'home'.

“I wrote this one to gather my feelings of missing home," DC Salas explains on the new single. "But this home might not only be Belgium. It’s sometimes Lima, my grandmother’s home, and other times my Belgian grandparents’ house. It fights against the nostalgia of these lost places.

'The Places I Call(ed) Home' spans 10 tracks in total, featuring collaborations with Curses and emerginr Moroccan artist Zaatar. It spans soundscapes of house, progressive and New Beat to acid, trance and Goa infusions, each cut acting as a vessel of preservation of both people and places.

"Home is where I live but not only," he continues on the forthcoming full LP. "Home is where I feel happy. It might be my safe place for an hour, a night, a day, or a lifetime. It can be San Borja, Laeken, Rue Blaes. A dancefloor or a record store. The most important are the memories linked to these precious places. They keep people alive, they comfort me. When you lose precious people, finding ways to move forward is key. Writing music about places and memories is my favourite way to learn to live without them.

“Each track in ‘To the Places I Call(ed) Home’ is a journey through the spaces and moments that have shaped my life. It’s a tribute to the fragments of my past that continue to influence my present.”
