Brazil Gets Physical 2015
8/10
This is a tale of two cities, Berlin and São Paulo.
The Brazilian metropolis is the setting for the latest comp from Germany's Get Physical label: crafted and curated by Warung resident Davis, it's split into a double album with the first mix, 'Dia', serving as the perfect soundtrack to a few beers at a barbeque party and the second disc, 'Noite', taking things into the darkness and beyond.
Nocturnal tracks from Midland, Young Marco, Rancido and Davis himself take care of late-night listening. According to the producer, these tracks help "to take your ears through some works that I deem essential, others that I consider timeless and some more that, together, concoct a statement of how great these times we live in can be, whether you are in Berlin or São Paulo".
Get Physical can definitely be depended on to release a quality package.
