Davide Squillace

Italian stallion Davide Squillace is one of the coolest customers to step into the DJ booth. With a sophisticated swagger and musical prowess that's almost unmatched, whenever he takes to the decks, he whips up a frenzy.

We've seen him in The Garden at DC-10 and his sumptuous, rolling grooves never fail to get the dancers worked up. He's a Circo Loco favourite and one of the most in-demand DJs around.

As Tillie from Mimxag TV gleefully describes him, "he's a serious player in the tech-house game".

His next track will arrive on a new compilation from Johnny White's No.19 camp and it's another belter. The compilation is called 'I Live in Barcelona' and is inspired by White's current home in north west Spain.

He's called up his high profile producer pals for a 16-track CD and we've got the premiere of Squillace's cut.

'Social Glue' is more eerie than you'd expect from Davide. He uses mystical synths to kick things off before a menacing and rugged bassline comes storming in. Add in some energetic hi-hats, enigmatic builds and wall-shaking drops and you're left with a track that will do as damage in your living room as it would the White Isle.
