Hear a good-time house remix of the UK trio
UK trio Dark Sky have called in some on-point house and techno talent to remix 2014 single 'Voyages'.
The tune is from their debut album 'Imagin' and nods toward astral krautrock, the rhythm of legendary drummer Steve Reid and the warm, pulsating sub-bass beloved of the post-dubstep generation. It's a fine example of why Modeselektor snapped the boys up for their Monkeytown label.
Re-upping 'Imagin' for '15 is Francis Inferno Orchestra and Redshape, giving the track a new lease of life in the clubs.
We've got the first play of Francis Inferno Orchestra's version and the Australian house artist turns out upbeat vibes, channelling the good times of OGs like Marcellus Pittman and Andres.
The 'Voyages' remixes are out on July 31 and available via Beatport from Friday
