Daft Punk’s Roland TR-909 is being auctioned online
Could you be the new owner of the iconic drum machine?
Vintage & Analogue Occasion has listed the Roland TR-909 that once belonged to Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk as a “collector’s item” on Facebook, which will be sold to “the highest bidder”.
The 909 is still loaded with the presets recorded at the time of 'Homework', the French duo’s debut album which was released in 1997.
Offers for the TR-909 have reached €10,000 already, and there's no information available regarding the lifespan of the listing. We can only imagine what this piece of electronic history will sell for.
