Croydon is getting a new club called Phase

Meet Phase, the brand new 500-capacity club and arts space opening in the heart of Croydon

Run by The Prince of Wales’ Lambeth group, the two-room venue will be complete with a fresh Coda Audio sound system and its own studio space

Opening in December, Phase will have a 4am license and a programme consisting of inclusive and balanced line-ups on Fridays and Saturdays while weekdays will be made up of live music and comedy acts.

The Coda Audio soundsystem has a sensor-controlled bass system that automatically and instantly corrects any potential distortion.

Situated on Crown Hill, the venue will seek to build partnerships within the community by partnering with local charities and organisations to offer musical opportunities to those of any age.

Wayne Saunders, Managing Director of Phase describes how the venue’s investment in the community is key to the ethos of the club.

“With Croydon Music City, our shared vision to re-establish the Borough on the cultural and musical map of London is vital to our project. We're committed to offering a platform for emerging artists and a hub for established acts from the underground electronic music scene, as well as developing a performance space for local and London-wide talent from spoken word, cabaret, comedy and live music.”

Phase’s opening line-ups will drop soon.
