Crew Love records celebrates 'Based On a True Story'
The imprint kicked off its first release with a party at New York's Flash Factory
Brooklyn's own Crew Love collective recently launched their official label, Crew Love Records, in collaboration with Berlin's !K7.
After years of performing and throwing events together, the Crew Love collective has established themselves as NY icons - a tight knit team notorious for high-velocity vibes and expert music curation.
Wolf + Lamb and Soul Clap have joined forces with longtime friends PillowTalk, No Regular Play and Nick Monaco to release Crew Love's first album. Titled 'Based On a True Story', the 11-track work features 17 artists and a whole lot of funky music.
To celebrate, the Crew Love team decided to throw a 'for-the-ages' party at NYC's new Flash Factory. Flash's state-of-the-art soundsystem and mind-bending visuals proved the perfect environment to mark the new label's milestone. The atmosphere was in full force with Wolf + Lamb, No Regular Play and Navid Izadi on the decks. Check out the highlights video below.
