The Knocks share a new video with the release of '55'
The NY duo share their own story in this video
On the heels of their latest album ‘ 55’, the Lower East Side duo the Knocks have shared a comical new animated video explaining how The Knocks came to be.
As the video details, The Knocks (made up of James “JPatt” Patterson and Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner) met in a studio at New York’s New School, and their music reflects that. A compromised home studio situation lead to the two working on a number of retrofitted dance cuts. ‘55’ picks up on this idea and adds features from mainstream heavyweights like Wyclef Jean, Carly Rae Jepsen and Fetty Wap.
‘55’ is out today via Big Beat/Neon Gold Records, and the track list and animated video can be viewed below.
