Crew Love collective launches label with Pillowtalk, Wolf + Lamb
Brooklyn's funk magicians officially come together
The Crew Love collective has launched their new label, Crew Love Records.
The group of artists, lead by Soul Clap and Wolf + Lamb, has been winning the hearts of Brooklyn for years. Now, the groove masters are joining forces with longtime comrades PillowTalk, No Regular Play, Nick Monaco, Slow Hands, Navid Izadi and more to form the official camp. Their first release, titled 'Crew Love: Based on A True Story', will feature a blend of solo and collaborative works from the collective's members in the form of 11 tracks.
To give fans a preview, PillowTalk and Soul Clap have shared 'Love Train' with No Regular Play's trumpeter Greg Paulus; the full album comes out February 26.
Crew Love's resident funk aficionado Slow Hands will be serving soul-heavy vibes at The Lab NYC this Friday.
