Halcyon opens permanent vinyl shop and cafe at Brooklyn's Output
The famed record dealer finds a new home
On February 5, Brooklyn's renowned vinyl trader Halcyon will be relocating inside of Output. Taking the space of the former Stilton House, the permanent shop promises an expertly curated selection of 5,000 titles and will be paired with a full service cafe.
Halcyon has been a pivotal mainstay in New York's underground music scene for over a decade. The new location's hours will coincide with Output's regular programming and special events. With its own private entrance and connections to the Main and Panther Room, the record store's presence is a symbol of the both brands' industry progression, fusion and affinity for vinyl culture.
Opening night festivities includes a private reception featuring long-time Halcyon associate DJ Jus-Ed. Upcoming event announcements can be expected soon.
On the night of Halcyon's opening, Output is providing an impressive roster on their talent board. MODESELEKTOR, Benjamin Damage, Shed and Truncate will provide for the 50 Weapons Finale Showcase in the Main Room and Eddie Richards and Adam Collins will command the Panther Room.
