Cormac shares second V/A compilation on his imprint Polari
'No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2' is carefully curated with anthemic, nostalgia-meets-contemporary cuts
Cormac has shared the latest VA compilation via his label Polari, 'No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2'.
The record is packed with synth-heavy swings, acid basslines, heated vocals and welcomes both old and new faces to the label. It taps into nostalgia whilst sticking firmly within a contemporary context through its full-throttle club music

"'No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2' is a unique family with offerings from Polari hitmakers such as Jordan Nocturne, ROTCIV, and Louis de Tomaso as well as introducing new talent to the roster including DJ City, Nimmo, Shay Shaz, Hifi Sean, Joshua James + Xols.
"I curate the compilation much as I do a DJ set, so there is a voyage of sorts in listening to the compilation as a whole. I encourage the listener to listen as you would an album, although they of course work solo as well."
Label profits from the compilation are going to the charity Doctors Without Borders, whose main objective is to treat people in the region of the world where they're most needed, currently most active in Gaza.
