Copy Paste Soul
Hyperactive, rave-inspired tech house
If Carl Cox is pulling you in for a second release on his and Jon Rundell's Intec label, you must have impressed him the first time round. As is the case for Copy Paste Soul who releases the 'In Focus' EP on it this month.
It follows the 'Hypno' EP that came out in September last year, of which the title track was a rough'n'tumble piece of tech house, and a run of releases on Exploited, 2Swords Records and ALiVE Recordings.
Skream and Modeselektor are among the admirers of his infectious grooves and whirring atmospherics, while Laurent Garnier was on remix duty for 'The Fall'.
Energetic and hyper tech house is what the title track of his latest release is all about, littered with wonky synth lines, dark whomps and a whole host of rave-ravished goodness. To the dancefloor.
Intec releases the 'In Focus' EP on January 25
