Bushido debuts proper for influential Scottish label Astral Black with four pearlers on the expertly titled ‘Grandmaster Cash’ EP.

From the trickling, carnival flavours and stomping drum beats on opener ‘Palm Tree’ to the sino flavours on ‘Cherry Blossom’, he demonstrates a fluid, maturing sound and a real flair for earworm melodies.

The footwork-paced ‘Just Us’ takes us us on another excursion, before the raw club heat of ‘Jersey’ signs off with a bang. Tip!
