Bottom Heavy returns for one-off party at Giant Steps
Wes Baggaley and Dan Beaumont will spin at the East London venue all day long
LGBTQ+ party Bottom Heavy, which often hosts Saturday night events at Dalston Superstore, will throw a one-off afternoon tea dance at Giant Steps next month.
Wes Baggaley (pictured) and Dan Beaumont, who run the party, will be at the controls all day.
Baggeley explains, “The original idea for Bottom Heavy was actually a Sunday tea dance but we ended up doing it as a bi-monthly Saturday at Dalston Superstore because we both love it there and are very comfortable playing there for long sets.”
He continues, “There was a free date on Sunday June 9 at Giant Steps and we both wanted to play on that sound system and have heard great things about the venue so we’re very excited to be doing it. We feel that London needs a good Sunday LGBTQ+ daytime party with great music."
Bottom Heavy will head to Giant Steps on June 9. Buy tickets here and check out the flyer below.
