Bonaventure’s ‘Complexion’ lands on NON
The release comes backed with a Chino Amobi remix of the BCR Incubator resident
Bonaventure has put out her debut release ‘Complexion’ through NON Worldwide.
The track combines eerie synth melodies with a sparse-yet-hard-hitting base layer of crashing club sounds, while a bubbling Chino Amobi remix also features on the release.
Bonaventure investigates themes of identity and explores human boundaries in her music, and is the second artist to win Berlin Community Radio’s Incubator project, which focuses on shining a spotlight on “underrepresented and marginalised creative voices."
She has recently developed a collaborative live show with artist and writer Hannah Black, performing London shows at the ICA and Bloc.
