Hospital Records artist Benny L has locked down the first-ever drum 'n' bass Beatport No. 1 for his remix of John Holt's reggae classic, 'Police In Helicopter'.

Released as part of Hospital Records 2019 edition of their renowned ‘Sick Music' series, this drum 'n' bass milestone shows how the genre continues to grow and dominate the global dance music scene.

"Hospital hit me up about doing a remix for a forthcoming project and ‘Police In Helicopter’ was on the list, so I went for it,” Benny L explained to Beatport. “To see it at the top of the multi-genre chart on Beatport is truly amazing. I never thought it would get this far.”

Drum & Bass ranked fifth in Beatport’s top-performing genres of 2018.
