BBC Radio 1 DJ Benji B has paired an ethereal playlist of tunes alongside some stunning, unseen footage from the wildly popular and anticipated show Blue Planet II.

Starting high above the waves with a repetitive and uplifting Steve Reich track, the camera traverses uncombed kelp forests to Radiohead’s ‘Weird Fishes/Arpeggi’, rising tide pools with Floating Points, behemoth waves alongside Burial and towering icebergs to the sounds of Bjork.

Back in September, Hans Zimmer teamed up with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke for ‘ocean (bloom)’ - a collaboration created for the BBC show which contains heavy influences from the sounds of the sea.
